In some instances, hyperlinks are not formatting or displaying correctly in Microsoft Word and are showing the underlying code like the example below.

To fix the issue you will need to complete the following steps:


1) Click File > Options


2) In the left hand menu pane, select Advanced


3) Scroll down the list of options until you reach the Show document content section and make sure that the option Show field codes instead of their values is NOT TICKED.



4) Select OK


All hyperlinks should now display correctly.
