Sometimes you may notice that when plugged in to one of the docking stations (dock) on a hot desk that either it doesn't work at all, or one of the peripherals connected to it doesn't work whilst others do (i.e. keyboard, mouse, monitor).

Of course it could be that there is a genuine fault with the dock but there is also a possibility that it's very small cache (storeage area) has become overloaded with data and the connections just aren't working temporarily - this happens quite often with docking stations.

So, before you raise a ticket in HelpDesk please try disconnecting the dock from your device and then disconnecting the power to the dock for a full 10 seconds (just unplug the power cable from the dock - it's on the left hand side next to the USB cable that you connect to your device). Reconnect and check to see if the issue is resolved.

Nine times out of ten this will fix your problem but if it doesn't, please raise a ticket in Helpdesk
