Whilst you can't edit the content of a PDF without the full version of Adobe Acrobat or an alternative such as Nitro, It's possible to add text and signatures to a PDF file, using the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, available for download here - https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/

Instructions for signing a PDF are in the attached document.
