If your CBH device Windows has just updated following an extended period when it hasn't updated, when you attempt to log in to Live Desktop or any other RDP (e.g. Capita Housing, Mitel phones) instead of being asked to enter your email address and password to log in, you may see a box asking you to enter your PIN. Alternatively, f you have one of the newer Acer laptops, you may be asked for your fingerprint (if you've set this up).


Understandably, you may assume that this refers to the PIN that you use when you log in to your device BUT it isn't unfortunately. This is related to a part of OneDrive/SharePoint/Office 365 not having been fully implemented as yet by CBC ICT.


To work round this, rather than enter your PIN, you click on the "More Choices" option (towards bottom left of box) and select "Use a different account". Then you enter your email address and password and login as normal (including authentication). Your account will be stored but you'll always have to click on "More Choices", then select your stored account and enter your password.
