Following the move to Windows 10 Live Desktop, the document file viewer program used by

IDOX called Trapeze, lost some of its original file associations, in particular the one to the OTP

document format, this meant that attempts to open OTP files from IDOX resulted in an 

error, we have addressed this issue for all new users, but some existing Live Desktop users 

may be required to perform the following simple fix to resolve the issue for themselves.

 

 

  1. Click on Start Bar 
  2. Type in Trapeze to search for the Trapeze application
  3. Click on Trapeze to run the application

  1. The File Types screen should appear when it loads 
  2. Repeatedly Click on the OTTP Document type until it changes to a tick

  1. Once you see it’s a tick 
  2. Click OK
  3. Close the application – and the issue will be resolved.

  1.  If the File Types box doesn’t appear when you run the application
  2.  Click on the Edit -> Preferences toolbar
  3.  Select File Types from the left hand list
  4.  Press the File Types button 
  5.  Make the same change as described in Steps 5-8 above
