If you're looking to work remotely, including from home, it's useful to divert your Mitel number to your mobile phone. This can be done directly through your Mitel Client by managing statuses and setting up some basic account configuration. You can also request that ICT deploys the Mitel app to your smartphone, allowing it to act like a desk phone from within the office.

Client Access

The Mitel client is available on your Windows 10 laptop by using the MiCollab RDP found here, or within the Live Desktop (Pond) environment.

Now when you select the new status, calls coming through to your work extension should be forwarded to your smartphone. Be sure to switch your status back when you're in the office or when you need calls to go back to your smartphone. You can also perform diverts to other members of staff or send calls directly to voicemail in certain situations where you may be too busy to receive calls.
