Views
If you need changes made to a Document Library then using the right names makes things easier and quicker:
- Provide the name of the Document Library where the changes are to be made
- If a new View is needed or a change is required to an existing View then please provide its name
- When a View is created or amended we need to know if it needs 0, 1 or 2 levels of grouping
- If 1 level of grouping is required then we need to know by which column it is to be grouped (usually the Group column, but not always)
- If 2 levels of grouping is required then we need to know which column it is to be used for the sub-grouping (usually the Sub-group column, but not always)
Column changes
- You can request that columns are to be renamed, added or removed. New columns could be for use by a new or existing View.
- If a new column, is it single or multi-line text, a date, number, currency or person
- If the column is to be a choice/dropdown then we need to know the text of each entry
- The order of columns can be changed in any View including Quick Edit
